Female orgasm Fact

What is an orgasm? It’s defined as the peak of sexual arousal when all the muscles that were tightened during sexual arousal relax, causing a very pleasurable feeling that may involve the whole body. During orgasm, many women’s heart rates skyrocket, their breathing quickens, and their blood pressure rates increase; muscles throughout their bodies spasm, but mostly those in the vagina, uterus, anus, and pelvic floor.

Fact about women orgasm:

(1)Average length of time it takes a woman to have an orgasm: 20 minutes. Average length of time it takes a man: 2-5 minutes.
    (2) Half of girls have had an orgasm by the time they’re 16 years old.
(3)44% of men say their female partners always have orgasms when they have sex. 22% of women say they always have orgasms when they have sex.
    (4) About 1% of women are able to achieve orgasm solely through breast stimulation.

What can you do?

Relax

It is possible to try too hard. Focus on enjoying the process, not on whether or not you will have an orgasm.

Communicate

Communicate with your partner your preferences when it comes to sex. Your partner cannot read your mind.

Encourage

If you or your partner are doing something pleasurable, encourage your mate to continue.

Enjoy

Learn to enjoy and feel comfortable with your sexuality. Your current inability to have an orgasm is not a reflection of your femininity, your psychological or emotional health. Putting yourself down just makes it that much more difficult.

Fantasize

Some women have trouble concentrating during sex. If that is the case, you may wish to fantasize, i.e., thinking about something sexual may excite you and may reduce negative emotions. If you feel that you are very close to achieving an orgasm, alternate tightening and relaxing your pelvic floor muscles. This may sometimes trigger a real orgasm.
